Thunder HC Announces WIJHL Affiliation
Thunder HC is proud to announce an affiliation agreement with the Western International Junior Hockey League (WIJHL) for the 2026/2027 season.
This partnership creates a great opportunity for both Thunder HC and the WIJHL. Through this affiliation, Thunder HC players will have the opportunity to work closely with WIJHL member teams and coaching staffs, develop their skills, and earn opportunities to be called up and participate in the Junior Hockey environment. Players will gain valuable junior experience, additional ice time, and exposure while competing in a highly competitive environment.
This partnership adds another important piece to Thunder HC’s development model, providing our players with a pathway toward Junior Hockey and opportunities to continue progressing within the independent hockey ecosystem. We are proud to work alongside organizations that share our commitment to player development and helping athletes reach the next level.
